Ristorante Gli Ulivi in Province of Salerno

"My family came to this restaurant after meeting Pascal and his wife at their ceramics shop in Ravello. They made a reservation for us at their restaurant at Palazzo Pascal and it was one of our favorite nights of the trip! They picked us up from our hotel in Ravello and drove us to Scala. We arrived and were walked through the hotel to the restaurant and gardens out back. The staff were incredibly welcoming and professional. The waitstaff was phenomenal, the food was out of this world, and the atmosphere was more than we could’ve dreamed. We had delicious appetizers, they accommodated an allergy for one of our guests, entrees and desserts were all perfection, and the bartender made espresso martinis table-side. The whole experience really gave the luxury feel that you dream of on the Amalfi coast, similar to Michelin star restaurants we have experienced in the region. I definitely recommend the veal, linguini and clams, and lemon pasta. Their cheese selection was amazing, and their crème brûlée was the best I’ve ever had! My family and I will definitely be staying at Palazzo Pascal the next time we’re in the Amati coast."

"Incredible experience. The view is incredible. You overlook Ravello and Scalia. The food is special. Attention is paid to every ingredient. The chef puts a local and unique twist on every dish. It is truly a culinary adventure and so so good. The service is attentive and they treat you like family. Absolutely a must. Oh and the wine list is amazing. The picture is a split plate."

The dishes were delicious and inventive. The staff are all so kind and attentive. And don’t miss out on Gianluca’s table-side espresso martinis to close out your experience! "Hands down my favorite restaurant and experience while in Italy. Absolutely incredible food, wine, service, atmosphere and experience. I am dreaming of all of the food in the pictures, wishing I was back while I post this review with pictures. Our night started with a “shuttle” drive from the owners from Ravello to Scala. Yes, the owners themselves picked us up! We were then greeted by the wonderful restaurant staff, seated at a table with an amazing view of Scala/Ravello. The appetizer of fresh figs, prosciutto, and burrata was my favorite dish we had in all of Italy. We shared the Lemon Tagliolini which was so light and delicious! And then we got the lamb and the Sea Bass (for one). Both were cocked to perfection! We got a bottle of red wine that was local and recommended by our waiter. They aerated the wine in front of us, which was so cool to watch and made the wine taste even better! After our outstanding dinner, the owners took us back to our accommodations! Top tier service! I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Gli Ulivi! Highly recommend! We cannot wait to come back some day!"

"What a beautiful place! The atmosphere was perfect and provided a beautiful view of Ravello. We had the tasting menu accompanied by a bottle of Brunello. The menu was wonderfully crafted and the service was incredible. Everyone was attentive and helpful. End your night with Gianluca’s espresso martini! You need to try one to find out his surprise ingredient!"

"We had a delightful lunch overlooking the garden and pool as well as the town of Ravello. We had the eggplant parmigiana for a starter and sea bass for our main course. My husband had the lava cake and I had fresh fruit for dessert. We really enjoyed our food, the friendly service and the wonderful atmosphere at this restaurant."
